BOGUE CHITTO STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Franklinton. It is a medium park with a listed 81 sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your large RV since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. One of the more civilized services – 802.11 WiFi – is provided by the owners of the park. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at BOGUE CHITTO STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Franklinton.
