BLACKWATER RIVER STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Holt. It is a fairly small park with a claimed 30 sites to park your camper. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Do not worry too much about the length of your 45 footer since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Sewer connections are provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at BLACKWATER RIVER STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Holt.
