BIG MEADOWS NPS is a RV Park in or near the town of Shenandoah. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 217 spots to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If you are driving a Motorhome, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. I do not know about you, but I cannot live without 802.11 WiFi and this park has it so that is a good thing. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at BIG MEADOWS NPS would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Shenandoah.
