BEAR DEN CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Spruce Pine. It is a largish park with a claimed 144 rv sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If you are driving a 45 footer, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. If you just cannot get away without a little taste of the internet – do not be alarmed – WiFi is at the park. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Spruce Pine – instead stop and rest at BEAR DEN CAMPGROUND.
