If you are looking for a place to stay and fish DONT stay at bassworld because it is not clean its full of roaches and its just a dump!!!!!!

I enjoyed our stay at Bass World Lodge. The staff goes above and beyond anyplace I have stayed. I have traveled in 11 countries and 39 of the states. It’s old Florida fish resort like Florida is famous for. If you want the Hilton or Plaza hotel your in the wrong place. This is a quaint place, nice clean cabins. Yes they are older charming cottages, The fishing is large mouth bass and in August I’m going back for the shrimp.

Just ended a week at Bass World. I found the place very nice. The staff is outstanding. Don’t know what the previous person was claiming roaches. I did not see one bug anywhere. I’ll go back without hesitation.
Yes it is not the Hilton, but then the prices are not Hilton either.
