BARREN RIVER STATE RESORT PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Lucas. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a claimed 99 spots to park your camper. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. If you are driving a Big Daddy RV, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Fluffy since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at BARREN RIVER STATE RESORT PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Lucas.
