BAR HARBOR/OCEANSIDE KOA is a RV Park in or near the town of Bar Harbor. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a reported 300 pads to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If you are driving a Motorhome, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. One of the more civilized services – 802.11 Wireless Internet – is provided by the owners of the park. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Sparky since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Bar Harbor, give the peeps at BAR HARBOR/OCEANSIDE KOA a call.
