ANCIENT OAKS is a RV Park in or near the town of Okeechobee. It is a fairly large park with a listed 687 pads to park your home away from home. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. If you are driving a large RV, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Sewer connections are provided. One of the more civilized services – 802.11 WiFi – is provided by the owners of the park. You will not have to miss the big game since Cable TV is part of this parks offering. Go ahead and bring along little ole Yeller since this park is Animal Friendly. Maybe an anti-riff-raff rule, but tent camping is not accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Bring your swim trunks this park has access to a pool. If you ever get near Okeechobee make sure you stop on by the ANCIENT OAKS .
