AMICALOLA FALLS STATE PARK AND LODGE is a RV Park in or near the town of Dawsonville. It is a fairly small park with a claimed 24 spots to park your camper. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Rig since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Dawsonville – instead stop and rest at AMICALOLA FALLS STATE PARK AND LODGE.
