- This is the only way I believe is the correct way to pack a bearing. Unless you have one of those fancy(read expensive) machines which essentially does the same thing. Update: I have to add some extra comments here in response to some of the comments I have received. I have driven this car now for 3 years and have regularly reached speeds in excess of 200km/h. When I'm racing, as can be seen on many of the videos that I post, I regularly also reach 196km/h trap speed over the 1/4 mile runs. There hasn't been a bearing failure or noise from the bearings yet, and they haven't been repacked since this video, though I am rebuilding the car and will be posting a video update of the state of the bearings. It's a Castrol grease, or in American terms Chevron, the specifications printed on the container meet and exceeds the requirements for car wheel bearings. So I can't see why some people are insisting that the grease I used is in any way inferior to anything else on the market.

- During the recent flood in North Georgia / Metro Atlanta, My Dad's flatbed trailer was completely submerged under deep, muddy water for an extended time. The brakes, bearings, and electrical connections were damaged and / or corroded. This video shows how to clean and repack the wheel bearings. Hopefully, soon I'll upload the video of all I did to the front axle, trailer brakes, etc.
