TIPS STATE RECREATION AREA is a RV Park in or near the town of Three Rivers. It is a very small park with a reported 20 slots to park your camper. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. If you are driving a Big Daddy RV, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Paws since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Three Rivers, you might find a great place to stay at TIPS STATE RECREATION AREA.
