HORSE THIEF CAMPGROUND – BLM is a RV Park in or near the town of Moab. It is a small park with a listed 60 pads to park your home away from home. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a Big Rig. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Sparky since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip root beer float in style. Do not just drive by Moab – instead stop and rest at HORSE THIEF CAMPGROUND – BLM.
