The Rear Living floor plan is not a common travel trailer floor plan. The advantages of having this floor plan in a travel trailer mean you can tow it with just a simple bumper pull instead of a fifth wheel hitch which does take up lots of space in your trucks box – YET at the same time, you can enjoy a very livable trailer just like all those peeps that have the rear living fifth wheels.

We’ve had a Palomino as our first travel trailer. It was a SOLID travel trailer without lots of problems. We would consider it a good quality unit. Why is this important? Because what you’ll find somewhat non-flashy with the Palomino’s will be made up by the units solid set of normal features and good construction.

I don’t think this is a good family vacation trailer, unless the vacations are very short. We found our kids don’t really like sleeping on the kitchen table or pulldown couch areas. So make sure that you consider that in layouts without bunkhouses.

• Central Bathroom (separates the bedroom from the bathroom when in use)
