Spend some time on the peaceful American Prairie!

On the trip from Texas to Central Nebraska we decided to go through Concordia Kansas and through the smaller towns and off the freeway. That was where we found Brome Ridge RV Park.
Before we say too much more… here are a couple of books that make Concordia Kansas a bit more interesting. Haunted Kansas (PB)Camp Concordia: German Pows in the Midwest .
About 3 miles south of Concordia Kansas we saw a little hand painted sign that said “RV Park” so we warmed up the camera and took some pictures. What struck me most was the gentle rolling hills, the absolute lack of car traffic, and how wonderfully green the area was. As we were filming I kept thinking about how nice it would be to see the stars at night, wake up to the Meadowlark’s song, and really just be without all of the distractions that society seems to tell you that you need. I know many of you want to be entertained, but for those willing to spend some time with yourself, a little park like this could be truly restorative. I couldn’t tell how nice the amenities are, but if you have sewer, water, and electric, how much more babying do you need? Anyway, I can see the possibilities. I must admit, I’m probably a little partial to the midwest though!
