YACHT HAVEN PARK AND MARINA is a RV Park in or near the town of Fort Lauderdale. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 250 pads to park your coach. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Rig since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little ole Yeller since this park is Animal Friendly. If you have a tent, you will need to keep it stowed at this RV park as tents are not allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If getting in a pool is your thing then you are in luck at this park – it has pool access. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Fort Lauderdale – instead stop and rest at YACHT HAVEN PARK AND MARINA.
