WOODLAWN SHORES is a RV Park in or near the town of Alexandria. It is a fairly small park with a listed 27 sites to park your home away from home. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Rig since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. Maybe an anti-riff-raff rule, but tent camping is not accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip mimosa in style. Do not just drive by Alexandria – instead stop and rest at WOODLAWN SHORES.
