WHITE SANDY RECREATION SITE is a RV Park in or near the town of Helena. It is a somewhat small park with a reported 32 spots to park your home away from home. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Do not worry too much about the length of your very large camper since the sites are built for large RVs. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Indications are that this park is not particularly animal friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. Do not just drive by Helena – instead stop and rest at WHITE SANDY RECREATION SITE.
