WAUBONSIE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Hamburg. It is a somewhat small park with a reported 40 rv sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. If you are driving a large Class A motorhome, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip gin and tonics in style. I am confident that the kind folks at WAUBONSIE STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Hamburg.
