Long Description
WALNUT POINT STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Oakland. It is a somewhat small park with a possible 33 sites to park your camper. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If you are driving a large Class A, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of Wireless Internet. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Oakland – instead stop and rest at WALNUT POINT STATE PARK.
