WALKERS POINT STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Madison. It is a almost small park with a reported 42 spots to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a very large camper. Electric hookups are provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Animals are welcome here. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip soda in style. I am confident that the kind folks at WALKERS POINT STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Madison.
