VETERANS MEMORIAL CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Antigo. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a possible 100 slots to park your recreational vehicle. This park has no pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a very long RV rig. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Mr K9 since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Antigo – instead stop and rest at VETERANS MEMORIAL CAMPGROUND.
