VEGA STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Collbran. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a reported 108 sites to park your coach. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your Motorhome since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at VEGA STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Collbran.
