Long Description
VAN METER STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Miami. It is a fairly small park with a claimed 22 rv sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. If you are driving a large Class A motorhome, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Miami, you might find a great place to stay at VAN METER STATE PARK.
