US FOREST SERVICE – LOST CABIN CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Buffalo. It is a very small park with a claimed 20 spots to park your camper. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a Big Rig, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Buffalo – instead stop and rest at US FOREST SERVICE – LOST CABIN CAMPGROUND.
