US FOREST SERVICE – FORE LAKE CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Ocala. It is a fairly small park with a possible 25 sites to park your recreational vehicle. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Your very large camper should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. Make sure your generator is fueled up for this park. Electric looks to not be provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip gin and tonics in style. If you ever get near Ocala make sure you stop on by the US FOREST SERVICE – FORE LAKE CAMPGROUND.
