TINKER AFB FAMCAMPGROUND (FOR MILITARY CAMPING ONLY) is a RV Park in or near the town of Midwest City. It is a fairly small park with a reported 29 pads to park your coach. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your 45 footer since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. If you just cannot get away without a little taste of the internet – do not be alarmed – Wireless Internet is at the park. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. If you ever get near Midwest City make sure you stop on by the TINKER AFB FAMCAMPGROUND (FOR MILITARY CAMPING ONLY).
