THOUSAND TRAILS/LAKE TAWAKONI is a RV Park in or near the town of Point. It is a somewhat large park with a possible 335 slots to park your RV. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Your large Class A motorhome should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. No need for a generator since the park has electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. I do not know about you, but I cannot live without WiFi and this park has it so that is a good thing. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. If getting in a pool is your thing then you are in luck at this park – it has pool access. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip root beer float in style. Do not just drive by Point – instead stop and rest at THOUSAND TRAILS/LAKE TAWAKONI.
