THOUSAND TRAILS-THUNDERBIRD RESORT is a RV Park in or near the town of Monroe. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a listed 105 slots to park your home away from home. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Do not worry too much about the length of your 45 footer since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. If getting in a pool is your thing then you are in luck at this park – it has pool access.
