THOUSAND TRAILS – HORSESHOE LAKES is a RV Park in or near the town of Clinton. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a claimed 122 slots to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. If you are driving a large Class A, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. One of the more civilized services – 802.11 Wireless Internet – is provided by the owners of the park. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Addict – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little Paws since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If getting in a pool is your thing then you are in luck at this park – it has pool access. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip jack and coke in style. I am confident that the kind folks at THOUSAND TRAILS – HORSESHOE LAKES would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Clinton.
