There are many special events in the area such as Seafair, Oysterfest, Art Festival, Hummingbird Festival, Shrimporee,  shopping, restaurants and beaches. We have shrimp boat harbors, Big Tree (1000+ years old), the leaning oaks, palm trees, art galleries, Fulton Mansion, Texas Maritime Museum and ongoing activities along with our great fishing and birding.

We are an adult park but children are welcome for a weekend or week visit.

If you should have trouble locating us (the street signs are not the greatest) just give us a call, and we will guide you to the park. It would be our pleasure to welcome you to the “The Quiet One“, where no one is a stranger for more than a few minutes. If we can be of further service to you just contact us.

The Quiet One is located five blocks off Business Highway 35 on W. James Street. We are surrounded by woods but within 10 minutes of the bay, downtown, the beach, boat ramps, fishing docks, harbors and birding.
