TEXAN RV PARK (FORMERLY TWINS LAKES RV RESORT) is a RV Park in or near the town of Athens. It is a almost small park with a claimed 48 rv sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a Big Daddy RV, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Sewer connections are provided. I do not know about you, but I cannot live without 802.11 Wireless Internet and this park has it so that is a good thing. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little Rusty since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip iced tea in style. If you ever get near Athens make sure you stop on by the TEXAN RV PARK (FORMERLY TWINS LAKES RV RESORT).
