TAWAS POINT STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of East Tawas. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a possible 210 spots to park your camper. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. If you are driving a Motorhome, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip root beer float in style. Maybe if you are planning on visiting East Tawas, you might find a great place to stay at TAWAS POINT STATE PARK.
