SUN-DOWN CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Amarillo. It is a almost small park with a reported 50 pads to park your camper. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Daddy RV since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. Power is no problem – the park has 50 amp service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. I do not know about you, but I cannot live without 802.11 WiFi and this park has it so that is a good thing. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Fluffy since this park is Animal Friendly. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. If you ever get near Amarillo make sure you stop on by the SUN-DOWN CAMPGROUND.
