SUMMIT LAKE STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of New Castle. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a claimed 125 pads to park your camper. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. Do not worry too much about the length of your very long camper since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not be a stranger, when you are by New Castle, give the peeps at SUMMIT LAKE STATE PARK a call.
