SUGAR BAY RESORT/CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Grand Rapids. It is a somewhat small park with a possible 40 rv sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a very long camper, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Do not just drive by Grand Rapids – instead stop and rest at SUGAR BAY RESORT/CAMPGROUND.
