STONY FORK CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Wytheville. It is a almost small park with a reported 50 spots to park your coach. This park has no pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a Big Rig. Electric hookups are provided. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at STONY FORK CAMPGROUND would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Wytheville.
