STONY BROOK STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Dansville. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a listed 100 slots to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a mansion on wheels. We do not believe the park has electric hookups. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Make sure you have water in the fresh tank as water hookups are not provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Barky since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip gin and tonics in style. Do not be a stranger, when you are by Dansville, give the peeps at STONY BROOK STATE PARK a call.
