STEINAKER STATE PARK CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Vernal. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a claimed 95 spots to park your RV. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. Do not worry too much about the length of your very long camper since the sites are built for large RVs. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip root beer float in style.
