SOUTH WHITLOCK RESORT is a RV Park in or near the town of Gettysburg. It is a mostly medium park with a reported 71 slots to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your 45 footer since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Sewer connections are provided. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a Couch Potato – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip lemonade in style. I am confident that the kind folks at SOUTH WHITLOCK RESORT would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Gettysburg.
