SOUTH SHORE PARK ON LAKE BASTROP is a RV Park in or near the town of Bastrop. It is a somewhat small park with a possible 38 slots to park your home away from home. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. Do not worry too much about the length of your very long RV rig since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little ole Yeller since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. A neat thing about this park is that it does have some waterfront attached to it. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at SOUTH SHORE PARK ON LAKE BASTROP would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Bastrop.
