SOUTH LLANO RIVER STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Junction. It is a small park with a possible 56 sites to park your RV. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your large Class A motorhome since the sites are built for large RVs. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Go ahead and bring along little ole Yeller since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at SOUTH LLANO RIVER STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Junction.

Are kayaks with trolling motors allowed on the river?

RV52.com called the park and we were told that there is no legal restrictions against trolling motors on your kayak. However, she said that from a common sense perspective, the river can go from 6 feet deep to 3 inches deep in a hurry. She said you would tear up a trolling motor in a hurry.
