SOUTH BEACH STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Newport. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 227 slots to park your recreational vehicle. This park must not have any pull thru sites that we are aware. We are not sure that your very long camper can fit comfortably so please call ahead. Electric hookups are provided. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip soda in style. Do not just drive by Newport – instead stop and rest at SOUTH BEACH STATE PARK.
