SOLOMONS ISLAND NAVY RECREATION CENTER (FOR MILITARY USE ONLY) is a RV Park in or near the town of Solomons Island. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 250 pads to park your home away from home. This park does not seem to have pull thru sites. Do not worry too much about the length of your Big Rig since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! Sewer connections are provided. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Bring your swim suit this park has access to a pool. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at SOLOMONS ISLAND NAVY RECREATION CENTER (FOR MILITARY USE ONLY) would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Solomons Island.
