SMITTYS ISLAND RETREAT is a RV Park in or near the town of Nordland-Marrowstone Island. It is a somewhat small park with a possible 40 slots to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru sites for your convenience. If you are driving a 45 footer, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. No need for a generator since the park has electric. The largest electric service is probably 30 amp. Another of the basics – water hookups – is provided. Adding to your RVing joy, make sure you bring your stinky slinky as there are sewer connections at the park. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no 802.11 WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Your pet is welcome at this park. Maybe an anti-riff-raff rule, but tent camping is not accepted. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip iced tea in style. Do not just drive by Nordland-Marrowstone Island – instead stop and rest at SMITTYS ISLAND RETREAT.
