Closed as of FEB 2014 – Do not know if it will be reopening, but I hear the sewer system is being replumbed so maybe it will open up again.

 

SMITHFIELD KOA is a RV Park in or near the town of Smithfield. It is a mostly medium park with a claimed 71 sites to park your camper. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. If you are driving a 45 footer, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. You will be thrilled to know that 50 amp service is provided. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. Some really good news is that a sewer connection is provided. If you just cannot get away without a little taste of the internet – do not be alarmed – Wireless Internet is at the park. You will not have to miss the big game since Cable TV is part of this parks offering. Your pet is welcome at this park. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. Bring your swim trunks this park has access to a pool. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at SMITHFIELD KOA would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Smithfield.
