SLOUGH CREEK CAMPGROUND is a RV Park in or near the town of Yellowstone National Park. It is a fairly small park with a possible 29 pads to park your recreational vehicle. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. The owners of the park were careful not to claim that the park can handle a large Class A motorhome. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. There is NO 50 amp service at the park. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. Be prepared to actually put the computer down and enjoy your coffee as there is no 802.11 Wireless Internet. You had better hope you have satellite if you are a TV Watcher – no cable tv at this park. Animals are welcome here. Some parts of this RV Park are more rustic than others with tent camping being accepted. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. I am confident that the kind folks at SLOUGH CREEK CAMPGROUND would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Yellowstone National Park.
