SLEEPING GIANT PROVINCIAL PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Silver Islet. It is a largish and maybe almost large park with a claimed 240 pads to park your RV. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Your very large camper should have no trouble in the longer slots this park has. Electric hookups are provided. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. At a minimum, make sure you have some drinking water as water hookups are not provided. You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no Wireless Internet. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Go ahead and bring along little Mr K9 since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. We tend to enjoy parks that have some connection to a waterfront, like a river or lake – and this park has that. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. I am confident that the kind folks at SLEEPING GIANT PROVINCIAL PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Silver Islet.
