SKIDAWAY ISLAND STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Savannah. It is a medium park with a possible 87 spots to park your RV. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. Do not worry too much about the length of your very large camper since the sites are built for large RVs. No need for a generator since the park has electric. One really nice thing is the 50 amp electric service. For the true RV experience – water hookups are provided – much better than camping in a tent! You will not be able to stay indefinitely as there are no sewer connections. I do not know about you, but I cannot live without 802.11 Wireless Internet and this park has it so that is a good thing. If your wife or significant other insists on Oxygen network be assured, the park offers Cable TV hookups. Go ahead and bring along little Paws since this park is Animal Friendly. If you like to REALLY get outside, you would be thrilled to know that you can camp in a tent here. If the days get hot, you can enjoy the shade trees that exist here. Maybe if you are planning on visiting Savannah, you might find a great place to stay at SKIDAWAY ISLAND STATE PARK.
