SHELTON WAYSIDE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Fossil. It is a somewhat small park with a reported 40 slots to park your camper. This park has pull thru pads if you are uncomfortable with backing your rig. We are not sure that your large RV can fit comfortably so please call ahead. Bring your generator as this park does not have electric hookups. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. No need to fill the freshwater since there are water hookups. You will want to ensure an empty gray and black tank as sewer connections are not provided here. The park has a more authentic camping experience than some RV parks due to the lack of WiFi. We have no idea of the over the air TV, but we do know that no Cable TV is provided. Go ahead and bring along little ole Furr Ball since this park is Animal Friendly. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. This park has some waterfront so you might get to enjoy the added benefit of the peace of water. Some shade trees do exist, which also make the park more scenic and attractive. Do not just drive by Fossil – instead stop and rest at SHELTON WAYSIDE PARK.
