SHAKAMAK STATE PARK is a RV Park in or near the town of Jasonville. It is a slightly larger than medium park with a claimed 122 sites to park your home away from home. This park has pull thru slots to make setting up a snap. If you are driving a mansion on wheels, then you are in luck since there are some extra long pads. You will be able to connect your RV to electric. Do not expect to run both air conditioners as 30 amp seems to be the largest service. Regardless of other connections, water, surprisingly enough, is not a provided service. Probably due to the nature of the park and its location, sewer connections are not available. If you are lucky, you might be able to use your cellular for internet, but otherwise there is no WiFi. Really this shouldn’t be an issue for campers, honestly, but there is not a Cable TV hookup. Animals are welcome here. Not sure this is a good thing for a high class RV experience, but tent camping is allowed. Swimming pool access is a nice touch for this park. Shade trees are at this RV park so you will be able to sip root beer float in style. I am confident that the kind folks at SHAKAMAK STATE PARK would want you to give them a try if you are passing by Jasonville.
